Component Descriptions

Part Component Function
1 Air Vent to vent air from the condensate pump and receiver
2 Check Valve to prevent the ingress of air to the condensate system
3 Isolation Valve to isolate the drain trap from the condensate system
4 Isolation Valve to isolate the pump balance line from the condensate system
5 Strainer to protect the steam trap from detritus
6 Check Valve to ensure directional flow through the pump
7 Isolation Valve to isolate the pump from the condensate system
8 Ball Float Steam Trap to drain the receiver under high pressure conditions
9 Check Valve to ensure directional flow through the pump
10 Isolation Valve drain trap set for the pump steam supply
11 Strainer drain trap set for the pump steam supply
12 Condensate Pump to drain the reservoir of condensate under low pressure
13 Ball Float Steam Trap to keep the pump steam supply clear of condensate
14 Check Valve to prevent backsyphoning of condensate
