Globe Valves

A3S

The A3S bellows sealed stop valve manufactured from forged steel to ASTM and is available with socket weld connections in sizes from ½" to 2". While the BSA3S is a carbon steel valve with integrally flanged connections and is available in sizes up to DN250.

The bellows sealed design makes leaking stem packing a thing of the past reducing maintenance costs and the total cost of ownership of the valve.

Piston Valves

Piston Valve

The RP piston valves are manufactured from ASTM carbon steel and stainless steel internals. They are available from ½" to 2" with a choice of screwed, socket weld, or flanged connections and are typically used for isolating steam trap stations. The RP piston valve gives a tight shut off and can be maintained in line without the need to remove the valve.

Ball Valves

Ball Valve

We offer a full range of ball valves for isolation purposes in either forged carbon steel or stainless steel, in sizes up to DN200 with a choice of connections. Our ball valves can be offered for a range of process fluids and gases.

Our M33 range of ball valve is specifically designed for the Oil & Petrochemical Industry. This is an antistatic / firesafe version, which can be used on a range of services including, refining fluids, hydrocarbons, industrial gases and offshore applications.

The Fig 34 is an integrally flanged Y-type strainer designed to remove rust, scale and other debris from the pipeline. It is produced from carbon steel, ASTM material. The product is available with material certification to EN 10204 2.2 as standard and EN 10204 3.1.B for body and cap by order.

Available with a stainless steel or Monel screen, the strainer is available in sizes up to DN200, Standard flange ANSI Class 150 and 300, JIS /KS 20.

DCV4 Disc Check Valves

The DCV4 is a (ASTM) austenitic stainless steel disc check valve with a wafer pattern designed to be sandwiched between ANSI flanges. It is available in sizes from DN15 to DN100 and has a maximum allowable pressure of 49 barg (dependent on temperature). Soft seat versions are also available for use on oil, air, gas, and water applications.

DCV41 Disc Check Valves

Diffusers

Diffusers are installed downstream of steam traps and are designed to reduce noise, erosion and water hammer by cushioning high velocity condensate and flash steam discharge.

DF1 Diffuser

DF1 Diffuser

The DF1 diffuser is manufactured in (ASTM) stainless steel, designed for installation on the downstream side of ½” and ¾” blast discharge steam traps (such as inverted bucket, thermodynamic or thermostatic steam traps) which are discharging to grade.

The DF1 can be used on traps rated up to 63 barg and have been shown to give a reduction of more than 80% of sound pressure levels measured 1 metre from point of discharge.

DF2 Diffuser

The DF2 diffuser is manufactured in (ASTM) stainless steel designed for installation on the downstream side of ½” and ¾” steam traps discharging into a condensate line.

The DF2 has a maximum operating pressure of 30 barg and is designed to reduce noise and water hammer when flash steam is produced at the trap outlet.

Air vents and air eliminators

Air vents are an important but often forgotten part of the steam system. As the name suggests, they remove air and other incondensable gases, which have the potential to reduce process efficiency, increase start up times, and lead to corrosion if not removed.

Air eliminators are automatic air and gas vents for liquid systems.

AVC32 and AVS32

AVC 32

The AVC32 and AVS32 are carbon steel and stainless steel balanced pressure thermostatic air vents used on steam systems. They have an integral flat strainer screen and are available in ½" to 1" sizes, with a range of connections including socket weld and flanged. Maximum operating pressure is 32 bar g, dependent on the connection options used.

AV45

The AV45 is a forged alloy steel bimetallic thermostatic air vent for steam systems. It has an integral flat strainer screen and is available in ½" to 1" sizes, with a range of connections including socket weld and flanged. Maximum operating pressure is 44 barg, dependent on the connection options used.

AE44

AE44

The AE44 series air eliminators are float type automatic air and gas vents for liquid systems. The body and cover are manufactured in carbon steel, and the valve cone is available in synthetic rubber (AE44) or stainless steel (AE44S). They have a maximum operating pressure of 40 bar g dependent on end connections used.

The AE44 is integrally flanged and comes in sizes from DN15 to DN25.

The AE50S automatic air vent is designed for use on liquid systems. It has a welded construction manufactured using austenitic stainless steel. It has a maximum operating pressure of 41 bar g dependent on temperature.

The AES14 series air eliminators are float type automatic air and gas vents for liquid systems. The body and cover are manufactured in austenitic stainless steel, and the valve cone is available in viton (AES14), EPDM (AES14E) or stainless steel (AES14S). They have a maximum operating pressure of 14 bar g. Available end connections are socket weld or screwed.

Desuperheaters

Spirax Sarco offer a range of desuperheaters manufactured in carbon steel, stainless steel, or Chrome Molybdenum, dependent on flow conditions required. The three main designs offered are:

  • Spray type – Simple design where relatively constant load duties exist with a turn down of up to 4:1.
  • Venturi type – Designed for constant or variable load handling duties with a turndowns of up to 10:1.
  • Variable area – Designed for variable loads with a turndown of up to 50:1.

These units can be packaged to include all control valves and ancillary equipment to make a complete desuperheater station, skid mounted ready for installation.

Liquid Drains

CA46 and CA46S air and gas traps

The CA46 & CA46S are austenitic stainless steel ball float air and gas traps for pressures up to 40 barg (temperature dependent). They are available in sizes DN40 and DN50 with integral flanged connections. The CA46 comes with a soft valve cone giving a tight shut off. For temperatures above 200°C the CA46S can be offered with stainless steel valve and seat.
